Digital Transfer Printing

Why is Digital Transfer printing a good branding option?

  • Great if your logo has fine detail, small text and multiple colours.

  • Mainly used if your artwork/text is too detailed for screen printing.

  • Full-colour branding to make your brand pop.

PLEASE NOTE: the flexibility of the product will be affected and a background colour will appear as the vinyl does not get cut to the shape of your artwork/text.

Description

Are you thinking of gifting a company-branded towel or tote bag as part of your next promotional giveaway? Perhaps you work in the hospitality industry and want to kit out your team in personalised aprons or workwear? Or maybe you’re a sports-based business keen to distribute customised running pouches to your customers as a corporate gift?

There are a multitude of corporate gifts or promo items out there (many of which can be found in our range) that are made from cotton and various types of fabric and they work brilliantly when branded using the digital transfer printing technique.

What is digital transfer printing?

Digital transfer printing is one of the most advanced branding solutions available on the market today, delivering high-resolution, photo-realistic results.

A digital transfer is able to produce full colour complex designs onto fabric materials, such as clothing, towels, bags, or caps. The artwork is printed onto white transfer paper, cut out with a specialised machine, and placed onto the object. A specific amount of heat and pressure is then applied to the design, and voilà, the image adheres permanently to the item. Before you know it you’re staring at a perfect, high-quality replica of your company logo on your next corporate gift.

What’s the difference between transfer printing and screen printing?

Digital transfer printing prints the image onto transfer paper and then applies it to the product. Screen printing uses a more manual design process whereby a stencil is created and used to apply layers of ink onto the printing surface, in order to create the desired image.

The advantages of digital transfer printing

Branding created by digital transfer printing does not stretch with the garment or ‘weigh it down’ – rather it ensures utmost comfort which makes it a superb choice for branding workwear. But that’s not the only reason we love this printing technique. Here are a few more:
